GENERAL ENGLISH PROGRAMS

 

Our General English courses are designed to give you the language skills to live, work, study and travel in an English-speaking environment. During your English language course, you will meet with the Academic Manager and develop clear learning objectives based on your level and needs.

 

Your teachers will continuously monitor your progress throughout your course and give regular feedback and advice, helping you to develop the English language skills you desire.

EXAM PREPARATION PROGRAMS

 

We can offer specialist exam preparation courses for a selection of examinations. Our exam preparation courses focus on areas of language that you may not be so confident with, and common exam subjects and topics.

 

Our exam preparation courses are designed around the learner’s specific requirements and the requirements of the exam. Monitored by our Academic Manager, we tailor our exam preparation courses around the candidate’s specific strengths and weaknesses.

  • Listening – Four sections with 40 questions. (30 minutes)
  • Reading – Three long texts with 40 questions. (60 minutes)
  • Writing – Two tasks. (60 minutes)
  • Speaking – Three parts. (Time 11 to 14 minutes)

TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMS

 

Our TEFL course to teach adults leads to a CELT qualification, an internationally recognized qualification. The course is intended for people without previous teaching experience who wish to enter the profession of English language teaching to adults.

 

The J-TEFL Certificate allows state qualified teachers to teach Juniors, in ACELS/QQI accredited English Language Schools. The qualification does not apply to the teaching of adults in the English language sector.

JUNIOR PROGRAM

 

We pride ourselves on the quality of our programmes. Our goal is to ensure that each and every student is taken care of from the moment they step off the plane until it’s time for them to say goodbye and go home.
